Agro Fores Team
Is a Mediterranean initiative that promotes agroforestry as a key strategy for sustainable territorial management. We bring together farmers, researchers, policymakers, and local communities through multi-actor platforms to co-create solutions adapted to each region’s needs. Our approach combines scientific knowledge, traditional practices, and real-world experimentation to boost resilience, restore degraded lands, and support inclusive rural development.
We work through Living Labs—collaborative environments where diverse stakeholders engage in open dialogue, test agroforestry solutions, and adapt them to local contexts. These platforms foster transdisciplinary innovation, integrate socio-economic and environmental dimensions, and ensure that practices are scalable, replicable, and rooted in community needs. Our methodology is designed to generate impact beyond the technical level, empowering territories to lead their own sustainable transitions

Our Agro Fores Team AGROFORESTEAM is fully aligned with key EU strategies: the EU Soil Strategy 2030, Biodiversity Strategy, Farm to Fork, and the Agroecology Partnership. The project drives the sustainable transformation of farming systems across the Mediterranean region.
